Start the day by hopping on a private vehicle and travelling through pristine jungle to the stunning Cheow Lan Lake. There, you’ll hop in a traditional longtail boat for a calm sail to one of its many islands. With limestone karst hills rising almost 1000 metres into the air and surrounded by beautiful green waters, the area is incredibly picturesque. With the family you’ll trek to an island cave, with its eerie stalactites, bats hanging from the ceiling and subterranean streams at your feet. Enjoy lunch in a local raft-house before having free time to relax, swim or kayak around the lake to search for wildlife. The water is clear and full of aquatic life, and you might spot hornbills, langurs, macaques or gibbons above water. After, return to your accommodation for the night and fall asleep to the relaxing sound of the jungle outside.

Intrepid and Nai tour guide wonderful. Highly recommend
This trip is a great opportunity for families to see parts of the North and South of Thailand. Our guide, Nai, was excellent- fun and patient with the kids and incredibly knowledgeable. There was a lot of time spent on buses travelling, which I think could be reviewed- even considering a boat to travel from Krabi to Phuket would have been great to change it up a little. The food was excellent and Nai always had numerous suggestions to cater for all, additionally he ensured frequent stops for rest/ toilets etc. Accommodation was varied. For those with mobility challenges, some of the accommodation- such as the raft house could be tricky due to the incline, however, our kids- aged 13 and 11yrs thought it was so much fun! Air conditioning was varied which was challenging for some in our group and Some places were a little way away from night markets etc, so tuk tuks/ taxis were needed. Overall, i would recommend the trip to others, however would encourage consideration of travel times in buses amd accommodation needs.
We did the best of Thailand holiday with our 7 and 11 year old boys. There was another family of 5 with us along the way. You end up spending lots of time with the other family so we were lucky we all got on! The tour is epic- so many awesome days we just loved everything we got to do, and we saw so many places that we would never have considered going to had they not been in our tour. I’d thoroughly recommend this tour. An awesome family adventure! April is hot though 🤣🥵

Our 15-day family trip through Thailand was unforgettable. From Bangkok and the River Kwai to Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Krabi, every stop was amazing. Traveling with two young boys was easy and joyful; Thanks especially to Rabbit, our outstanding tour leader, whose warmth, organization, and care truly made the trip exceptional.
